Here's a collection of my deep space images from beginning to current. I'll try to mention processing tips or other techniques or issues in the descriptions.
NGC 6888 (Crescent Nebula) 10/5/2022. This is my first HOO bi-color image. It's 19:20 hours of integration time, which is the most I've put into any image so far. I'm pretty happy with this one. When I compare it to Crescent Nebula images on Astrobin taken with an Esprit 150. I lost some detail in the waves of Ha while processing color. A big lesson I learned processing the last two images is to
M81 (Bode's Galaxy) 10/03/2022. It's my best processing job to date, but I'm still not 100% happy with the color or contrast. I also lost some detail in the background nebulosity. This is with 9 hours and 33 minutes of total integration time.
M27 (Dumbbell Nebula) 06/26/2022. This has only 1:24 of acquisition time, and I didn't do great separating stars in the nebula from the background.
M101 (Pinwheel Galaxy) 06/16/22. This is my first image. It had limited acquisition time, but I was still very happy. I'll add more time next time.
